SPEAKER BIOS
Jason Cobine, Founder-Director of Beyond Networking Ltd and owner of Cobine Carmelson Ltd., focuses on helping businesses reduce the time and money they spend business networking. He developed a method for finding the right contacts quickly and easily, online and offline and regularly speaks on how to build relationships by creating a first impression that lasts. The people he helps are usually managing directors, business owners and charity executives who want to grow their organisation whilst protecting their income and reputation.
Dr Mark Fisher is founder and co-owner of Exomedica Ltd. that develops and funds medical technology innovations from its earliest stage (including patenting, product design, clinical trials and regulation) to the point where their value can be realised through a licensing, sale or flotation. Prior to that, Mark was the Managing Director of Ventures for Health, the NHS Innovations Hub that is in charge of commercialising innovations by NHS hospitals all across West London.
Thomas Kulbokas is the Managing Director of Nearby Digital Ltd, the website design and development company that provides custom-built solutions for business web-presence and e-commerce projects through a simple one-stop-shop service. Thomas studied Music Media and Events at London Metropolitan University and is passionate about internet marketing, web 2.0 and online video.
David Warrilow is the Founder/Director of London IP Ltd, which offers comprehensive intellectual property management services, covering patents, trademarks, copyright and designs. David has been working in intellectual property protection since 2001, and has advised and represented a diverse range of clients, ranging from lone inventors to blue-chip companies. David is a UK Patent Attorney as well as a European Patent Attorney.
Dr Aniko Zagon, Founder-Director of Entelliz Limited, is an innovation management expert and business coach who helped many businesses build strong growth platforms and commercialised innovative projects for the NHS, UK universities and private ventures. She has worked, in various senior managerial roles, for the NHS, start-ups and listed companies. Aniko is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FMCI), and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
Investor panel:
Lois Cook, co-founded Angels Den. Lois has been helping small businesses over the last 10 years. Over the last few years she has turned her focus to what she sees as the major issue for small businesses, helping to get them funded, cheaply and easily.
Richard Cook, founder of the original Cash a Cheque Chain and Log Book Loans. Richard is a serial entrepreneur and investor who created and successfully sold a number of franchise businesses in the hospitality, finance and IT sectors. He is now non-executive director and investor of a number of startup companies and a Trustee of the Starlight Foundation, a children's charity.
Gregory Kris, CEO of Decibel and Director of a number of online media companies. Greg has over a dozen years experience in the online sector, where he has successfully founded and exited from two digital businesses and has grown a number of small businesses into successful organisations.

- In the event the minimum number to start a session is not attained, we reserve the right to cancel it. All course fees will be refunded if this occurs.
- Registered delegates can be substituted
- Registered delegates may request a refund up to 5 days in advance of the first day of the event. Refunds will be made minus a 15% processing fee.
- The organisers reserve the right to substitute speakers if necessary due to event that are beyond their control.
